Lovely house and grounds .Very let down by the 2 cafes .English Herotage could learn from National trust..Also the toilets by the children playground stank.☹️Full review by deesK7783KP

We had an excellent experience on the miniature railway Xmas special. It was Xmas eve, so the last day but the enthusiasm of the staff was still so high, and all the Xmas scenes were beautifully done…Full review by Safari50353690045

VERY easily normally.... takes all of 3 minutes! totally different when no concert or show is on! Go on a normal day and you will be fine

Yes, its the usual rip off. A coffee was £4.50 and Rose wine was £22 for 4 small cans.

It does depend on where you are staying. If you are in the centre of the town then it's easily walkable, assuming you are used to walking around places! our friends live in the …

It does depend on where you are staying. If you are in the centre of the town then it's easily walkable, assuming you are used to walking around places! our friends live in the centre of the town by the common and they and their 12 and 10 year old grandkids walk there and back regularily. Parking for concerts usually gets a lot of adverse comments on tripadvisor so if you can walk then do! Ask at the tourist information in town, as there is a short cut our friends take but I'm not exactly sure of the route to tell you. Your hotel could probably tell you too.
