So the special, magic effects are absolutely mind-blowing even if you are not into Harry Potter or Broadways shows. It was worth the money spent. I loved every moment of it. They even did a phenomena…Full review by Trina H

The show was more than expected! So many special effects that keep you wondering what’s next and asking how they did it. Very nostalgic to hear of the HP characters again and the inside of the theate…Full review by DT S

An amazing production play, faithful to the original story style, a must for Pottermore ones and families. The set, designers, visual effects, were all top notch. The transitions and on stage were gr…Full review by Arley E
I’m taking my father and my sister to see it (I’ve seen it before) in July. I’ve booked tickets on the left section of the balcony- specifically row C, they are the closest seats to the centre in that section however, I was looking through the pictures of the theatre and it seems the seats in the very back of the theatre in the centre of the balcony (Row H) may have a better view. Just wondering if anyone knows if I should bother switching the tickets, I want to give them the best experience I can afford. Thanks!

It’s a small theatre, we were on ground floor at back and it was fine - the only exception being at one point where something came into the audience (trying not to spoil surprises). When that thing came we could only see the bottom, I think the balcony would have had a better view of the top of the thing. That being said it was a scary thing and I was glad for our kids that they couldn’t see it all.
Question for those who enjoyed the play: Would it be awful to only see Part One? Or would I be lost if I only saw Part Two? Not sure if I want to spend an entire day/night at the theatr.

Sign up for the newsletter and emails. They will send you an email when tickets are to be released. If you want tickets, you have to get "in line" online the minute the tickets go on sale due to the popularity of the show. Then, you can pick your date and showtime once you are in the line IF you are lucky enough to get in. I liked the play but be sure that you have a lot of time to devote to it. The special effects are really good! Go to the website- harrypottertheplay. Be sure it is the official website and sign up.
How much time is in between part 1 and part 2? Will I have time to grab food in between? I’m so worried about being hungry! Thank you.

You will absolutely have time to eat in between, though I’d highly recommend staying in the Theayer district area. We went for dinner to Carmine’s, busy, crowded and family-style Italian delicious! For 5 of us we enjoyed 3 platters-Caesar salad, rigatoni with vodka (tomato cream) sauce and chicken parm. We had plenty of food and shared the leftovers with a man pointed out by a pleasant member of the NYPD, who knew firsthand the man would enjoy it. Reservations basically required, ours was at 5:30 and honored. These places in the theater district know how to get guests in and out and we were out with plenty of time. Before the early show we stopped at the nearby Shake Shack for burgers, fries and of course, shakes. Enjoy the show, it’s incredible!!!!!!!!!!
