The was an awesome place to visit. Too bad it rained heavily so we only managed to see half of the area. We plan to return when its cooler to see what we missed. Beautiful sculptures.Full review by 600EmilieP

My friend and I are planning a visit soon and we want to take some photos of our vacation fun. I've been reading conflicting reports on Vizcaya's photography permits and need to know before I go...I'm not a professional but I have a dslr and again want to get a few portraits in, however on the weekends it says you have to purchase a $350 permit plus tax to do any kind of posed portrait photography. I feel that's steep compared to other museums/gardens. Some people have said they only paid the $22 admission fee and no one asked about a photo permit, others said they had to pay. There's no clear distinction if travel photography for fun is free, even if its basically portrait photography. Has anyone had experience with this? Thanks!
