Roswell Police Department is seeking a suspect, Roberto Dominguez Soto, in the shooting death of Blanca Sauer, whose body was found in a ditch on Christmas Eve, and are working with state, federal and international authorities to apprehend him.

A deadly drive-by shooting occurred in southwest Atlanta on Christmas Eve around 6 p.m. The incident took place in the 1100 block of Smith Street near Roy Street. A woman was found with a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are actively investigating, gathering evidence, and seeking surveillance footage.

ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating after a woman was shot to death on Christmas Eve. Around 6 p.m., officers responded to a person shot call at 1113 Smith Street SW. When police arrived, they found a woman with an apparent gunshot wound. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
