JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - We are just two days away from the 165th State Fair opening in downtown Jackson. In the past, getting inside the fair could be a hassle with long lines and paying to park, just to name a few.

The 165th annual Mississippi State Fair is nearly in full swing. Before you gather the family and head down to the Jackson fair grounds, however, there are some things to know, from ticket prices to attractions. Mississippi Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Andy Gipson said the fair offers a little bit of everything for everybody.
