Nearly a month after it was reportedly intentionally started, the more than 43,000-acre Line Fire continues to prompt mandatory evacuations orders and warnings for residents in the San Bernardino Mountains.

A weekend flare-up that ignited nearly a month after the Line Fire first began in San Bernardino County grew by hundreds of acres overnight and has some mountain communities under evacuation orders and warnings Tuesday.

Nearly a month after the Line Fire began, a new evacuation order and warnings have been issued for areas burning in the San Bernardino Mountains. That came after a significant flare up in the fire Sunday.

New evacuation orders have been issued for the community of Seven Oaks in the San Bernardino Mountains, which is under threat from the more than 40,000-acre Line Fire burning since the beginning of this month.

The Line Fire was spread over 62.6 square miles, with 83% of the fire contained and 1,176 personnel assigned to fight the fire as of Sunday.

A flare up in the Line Fire prompted new evacuation orders and warnings Sunday and Monday afternoon in San Bernardino County, more than three weeks after it initially started.A new evacuation order was issued Monday afternoon for the community of Angelus Oaks.
