Pittsburgh area McDonald's restaurants have a saucy announcement to make. The McRib is back and now customers can also buy its iconic sauce. The sandwich is set to return to McDonald’s restaurants across the region on Dec. 3, for a limited time only.

It returns to menus every so often, but this time McDonald’s is offering an extra treat for the first time by offering hardcore fans half-gallon jugs of its signature, tangy McRib sauce. Fans can snag a jug online beginning at 10 a.m. on Nov. 25, while supplies last. And that won’t be very long.

McDonald’s signature McRib sandwich will return to menus nationwide starting Dec. 3 for a limited time. To mark the cult favorite’s return, and for those attending holiday parties or shopping for gifts, the chain is selling half-gallon jugs of its tangy McRib sauce starting Nov. 25 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time while supplies last.

When does the McRib come back to McDonald's menu? On Tuesday, Dec. 3, and it is available at participating restaurants nationwide for a limited time.

The sandwich’s return was anticipated after McDonald’s USA president Joe Erlinger mentioned on The Today Show in June that the McRib would be making a comeback sometime in 2024. "It will be back," he confirmed.
