The Seattle Seahawks survived the Chicago Bears on Thursday, winning their Week 17 contest 6-3. The victory improved the Seahawks to 9-7 and kept their postseason dreams alive. Notably, what the result signified was far more telling than the on-field action, which was the lowest-scoring NFL game this season.

Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald was honest when discussing a potentially high stakes Week 18 matchup with the Rams.

During the fourth quarter, running back Kenneth Walker III exited the game with an ankle injury. Walker was listed as DOUBTFUL to return, and ultimately did not set foot on the field again. This was Walker’s first game back after missing the last two in what has become a frustrating and injury-laden season.
