The Arizona Diamondbacks will lose their ace Corbin Burnes for the year after his Tommy John surgery, and trades could be their option.

Arizona Diamondbacks starter Corbin Burnes will undergo Tommy John surgery, D-backs manager Torey Lovullo said. Burnes is in the first year of a six-year, $210 million contract.

Diamondbacks lefty Andrew Saalfrank was reinstated on June 5 as his one-year ban for gambling on baseball ended.
