The first batch of invites to the 2025 NBA Draft green room, June 25-26, were revealed this week. And to nobody's surprise, one-year Duke basketball superstar Cooper Flagg was on the list.

It’s pretty much a foregone conclusion that Dallas will select Duke star Cooper Flag with the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft on June 25 at Barclays Center. But the team let its intentions be known a little early on its website with a graphic celebrating the presumed Flagg selection, in what was likely a mistake by their web team.
And while Flagg to Dallas is the worst-kept secret in the NBA right now, the Mavericks seemingly jumped the gun in announcing the news on their official team website 12 days before they can officially confirm they're picking the Duke phenom, according to Front Office Sports.
Although the NBA Finals are in full swing, the 2025 NBA draft is in less than two weeks. The first round is set for June 25.
