NEWYORK -- NewYorkCity is facing the coldest weather it's seen in a while, and parts of NewYork and New Jersey could be in for a White Christmas with snow on the way this week.
New York City officially had its first white Christmas since 2009 -- marking the first time in 15 years. The National Weather Service said Central Park's snow depth on Wednesday at 7 a.m. was 1 inch.
At the epicenter of a New York Christmas are the Christmas Eve services held at Cathedral of St. John Divine in Morningside Heights, Queens, and St. Patrick's Cathedral in Midtown Manhattan.
