NEW YORK (AP) — A man fatally stabbed three people across a swath of Manhattan on Monday morning, carrying out a series of random attacks without uttering a word to his victims, officials said.

Two men were killed and a woman left fighting for her life after a homeless New York City man allegedly committed a series of random stabbings, police said.

Three unprovoked stabbings across Manhattan Monday morning left two men dead and one woman “fighting for her life,” according to the New York City Police Department. A man is in custody, police said.
