There was a lot of drama at NFL Honors on Thursday and most of that came from the MVP race. In one of the closest votes of the night, Josh Allen ended up taking home the award after edging out Lamar Jackson.

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen took home the 2024 AP NFL MVP award at the NFL Honors on Thursday in New Orleans, edging Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens for the league's top individual honor.

Allen became everything the Bills could have dreamed of. And now Allen is an MVP, beating out Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson to win his first NFL MVP award, which was given out at Thursday's NFL Honors show. He's the third Bills player to win the award, joining Thurman Thomas in 1991 and O.J. Simpson in 1973.
