Nashville continues on the road in western Canada against a team with a rest advantage. Calgary (8-6-3) had a four-game points streak snapped in a 3-1 loss at Vancouver on Tuesday. The Flames' 5-0-1 start has given way to a middling November, though they start a four-game homestand on Friday.

At the end of the period, the Predators killed a 5-on-3 power play for the Flames after both Jeremy Lauzon and Alex Carrier went to the box. Brady Skjei, Luke Schenn, Colton Sissons, and Michael McCarron all combined to kill off the two man advantage.

The NHL slate on Friday includes a game between the Nashville Predators (5-9-3) and the Calgary Flames (8-6-3), starting at 9:00 PM ET at Scotiabank Saddledome and broadcast on ESPN+. The Predators are 14th and the Flames eighth in the Western Conference.
