After a data breach in which 'an unauthorized actor accessed and/or took certain files' from Rivers Casino Philadelphia, the business is reaching out to alert those who may have been involved in this incident.

Rivers Casino Philadelphia and Rush Street Gaming LLC negligently failed to protect the personal and financial information of thousands of people that was exposed in a November data breach, according to a proposed federal class action filed Wednesday.

Rivers Casino Philadelphia recently suffered a data breach that may have compromised some people’s personal information. Executives at the Fishtown casino discovered that “an unauthorized actor accessed and/or took certain files stored on our computer servers,” spokesperson Jack Horner said in a statement.

The Fishtown entertainment venue is mailing letters to people who may have had their society security numbers and bank account information compromised.
