Santos secured its return to the top tier of Brazilian soccer next year when it hopes star striker Neymar will be back at the club which achieved a global following with Pelé.

Neymar is set for a sensational return to Brazil. That's according to a report in South America on Sunday which claims that the 32-year-old is ready to sign for old club Santos. Neymar came through the Santos ranks and made his debut in 2009, going on to score 107 goals in 177 appearances.

After stints at Barcelona, PSG and Al Hilal, Neymar could be poised to return to the club that gave him his soccer birth.

Neymar has previously named the four Premier League clubs he'd consider joining. The 32-year-old winger faces an increasingly uncertain future at Al Hilal, with his deal in the Middle East set to expire at the end of the season.

Neymar's agent has shut down talk of the Brazilian terminating his Al-Hilal contract and heading back to Santos.
