SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A person was killed early Wednesday morning while walking on a Spartanburg County road. According to the state highway patrol, at around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, an unidentified pedestrian was walking in the roadway on S.C. 146 near I-26 when they were hit by a 2007 Freightliner tractor trailer.

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — Two people died Tuesday after getting into a car wreck due to a non-functional traffic light. According to the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office, the crash occurred after 2 p.m. at the intersection of S.C. 9/Boiling Springs Road and California Avenue.

A pedestrian was hit and killed early Wednesday morning in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. This happened about 4:30 a.m. on Highway 146 near Interstate 26. The South Carolina Highway Patrol said a pedestrian was in the roadway and a tractor-trailer hit the person.

A storm-related crash on Tuesday that happened at an intersection where the traffic lights were not working has killed two people, South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers said.
