A man has been jailed for fatally attacking a 50-year-old amputee in a Tesco car park, but he was cleared of murder along with his partner and her son. Wayne Ambridge, who had one leg, died in hospital five days after a family dispute boiled over into violence in Hertford on 4 November 2023.

A Tesco shopper has shared a picture of a sign at her local store which shows customers can now only park in the supermarket car park for a certain amount of time

On social media, the patron posted an image of a notification from their nearby Tesco which revealed that shoppers are now restricted to one hour of car park usage from 8pm until midnight. Moreover, customers who park from midnight to 6am are granted a mere 30 minutes, while day-time shoppers from 6am to 8pm retain thethree full hours.
