The joystick x-axis is attached to Arduino pin A0 and the y-axis to Arduino A1, and these are our INPUT. The x- and y-axes are then set as variables for movement.

The main components making up the CIMDIT are a 3-axis joystick module, which can double as a 3D CAD mouse, and a set of buttons, knobs and sliders to enable various functions.
