The official cast of GTA 6 is nothing but a mystery at the moment. Rockstar released its trailer in 2023, revealing the game's two main protagonists — Lucia and Jason.

Trevor Philips actor Steven Ogg would only want his character to appear in the next 'Grand Theft Auto' game if he dies at the beginning.

Grand Theft Auto 5 actor Steven Ogg wants co-protagonist Trevor to be killed off in the opening of GTA 6 in a full circle moment for the character. Ogg told ScreenRant he wanted a moment similar to Trevor's own murdering of GTA 4: The Lost and the Damned protagonist Johnny Klebitz,

GTA 5 voice actor Steven Ogg, who plays Trevor, has expressed his desire for the maniacal protagonist to appear in GTA 6 ... so he can be killed properly this time. Speaking to Screen Rant, the actor pitched the scene as passing the torch on, where Trevor could be killed right at the start of the game by one of the newly playable characters.

In an interview with ScreenRant, Ogg says, "It would be fun if Trevor appeared in it just to be killed at the beginning." This would put a twist on his own introduction in GTA 5, where he brutally kills Johnny Klebitz, a character from GTA 4 who went on to be the protagonist in The Lost and Damned DLC.

Either way Ogg isn't in the game, so it's safe to say Trevor won't be returning (for now). That doesn't necessarily mean anything for other cast members of course and, when it comes to the likes of the much younger Franklin, I'd be surprised if we didn't see him again somewhere down the line, even if it's just GTA Online missions.
