Microsoft has released Windows Terminal 1.7 for preview users with windowing improvements, a new Real-only pane, settings UI improvements, and much more. Version 1.6 is now generally available.

The new preview version also makes settings from settings.json available in the user interface. Version 1.22 is now available as a stable release.
