On a Friday episode of Good Morning Football, Lapeer native and Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby discussed the Lions' remarkable turnaround under head coach Dan Campbell.

The New York Giants and Detroit Lions went in two entirely different directions this season but their starting point was the same. Back in early August, the Giants and Lions kicked off the preseason with a pair of joint practices ahead of their first exhibition game.

Crosby was born and raised in Michigan and has called himself a “diehard Lions fan.” He used to watch them lose. Now he’s watching them win.

Dan Campbell shared a heck of a thought on Detroit sports fans. "This is a sleeping giant for football. The Pistons have had success. Red Wings have had success. But the Lions have never had success and just to be able to unlock everything.

There have certainly been better times for the Pittsburgh Steelers' organization. Even after making the postseason for the third time in four years, all hope seems lost in the Steel City.
