The shortlist includes groundbreaking Southern rap duo OutKast, Mexican rock band Maná and the recently reunited Britpop group Oasis.

OutKast, the hip-hop duo famous for pushing the boundaries of the genre, and The Black Crowes, a band known for its blend of hard rock and blues, could be inducted into the hall this year.
