PTPA co-founder Novak Djokovic declined to be named in a suit accusing tennis' governing bodies and Grand Slams of ‘abusing their power.'

Novak Djokovic, co-founder of the Professional Tennis Players Association (PTPA), has clarified why he chose not to participate in the class-action lawsuit filed by the organization against tennis' governing bodies.

The complaint filed in the Southern District of New York, obtained by ESPN, describes the ATP, WTA, ITF and ITIA as a "cartel" that works together to fix tournament prize money. The suit also alleges that some tournament owners won't even allow players to request an increase in prize money.
