An atmospheric river brought heavy rain, serious mountain snow and strong winds to California that flooded roads and rivers and triggered landslides.

Another storm is headed to California, bringing more rain to Southern California and waterlogged Northern California.

A flood advisory was issued by the NWS Sacramento CA on Monday at 11:49 p.m. in effect until Tuesday at 5:45 a.m. The advisory is for Butte, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sierra and Yuba counties.

The NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC issued a flood advisory at 11:47 p.m. on Thursday in effect until Friday at 3 a.m. for Madison County.

On Thursday at 9:07 p.m. the NWS Blacksburg VA issued a flood watch in effect until Friday at 3 a.m. for Ashe and Watauga counties.
