Darren Aronofsky is in talks to direct an adaptation of the Stephen King horror novel 'Cujo' about a killer St. Bernard for Netflix.

Roy Lee (Barbarian) is on board to produce the film, which does not yet have a writer attached. This won’t be Lee’s first time at the Stephen King rodeo. He already earned his bona fides producing both It movies, Salem’s Lot, Starz’s The Stand, and Mike Flanagan’s Doctor Sleep.

Then there’s ‘ The Life of Chuck ,’ directed by Mike Flanagan, which stars Tom Hiddleston in a story finding King in life-affirming, genre-bending mode, the original novella chronicling three chapters in the life of an ordinary man named Charles Krantz.
