Five teenagers will be charged as adults with attempted murder and other crimes after an attack at the Davis Islands dog park last week, prosecutors announced Thursday.

Investigators believe the attack stemmed from a dispute earlier in the week that "occurred outside of Tampa city limits."

A 33-year-old man has been charged with a number of offences following a dog attack on Monday, according to police. Officers were called to Bath Street in Rugby just after 15:30 GMT on Monday, following reports that a boy walking his dog had been approached by three loose dogs.

Five teens arrested for beating another teenager in the Davis Islands Dog Park attack that happened last week have all been charged as adults by the Hillsborough State Attorney's Office. Haley Hinds reports.
