U.S. President Donald Trump can keep his deployment of National Guard troops in Los Angeles, according to a court ruling, as protests against immigration raids look set to enter their second week in the strongest backlash since his return to power in January.

Protests are slated for a seventh day as the sun comes up, with Marines possibly to be deployed within the next day. While that city remains the focal point for the protests, we're also seeing them ramp up nationwide.

Some protesters have been seen leaving the large crowds and instead heading to the hotels and buildings where ICE are located.
