College Football Hall of Fame class was announced Wednesday and it features three former athletes with connections to Minnesota: Greg Eslinger, Jim Kleinsasser and Blake Elliott.

Kleinsasser joins Jim LeClair as the only two players from UND to be chosen for the college football hall of fame

Carrington native, and former University of North Dakota tight end, Jim Kleinsasser will be inducted into the 2025 College Football Hall of Fame Class by the National Football Foundation.

Greg Eslinger’s football career began at Bismarck High, continued at the University of Minnesota and eventually led to the National Football League.

The National Football Foundation unveiled its latest list of inductees into the College Football Hall of Fame, and Northwestern’s Larry Korver is one of the honorees. While in Orange City, Korver led the Red Raiders to two national titles,

The announcement was made yesterday that Jim Kleinsasser has been elected as part of the College Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025. Kleinsasser, the pride of Carrington, North Dakota, spent his college years at the University of North Dakota.
