BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla confirmed the national team's travel to Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy depends on government approval. India hasn't visited Pakistan since 2008. The BCCI may propose moving the tournament to Sri Lanka or Dubai if necessary.

BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla said the Indian government will take a final call on whether the national cricket team will travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy next year.

Pakistan are scheduled to host the prestigious ICC Champions Trophy from February 19 to March 9. But as has been the case for the past 16 years, India have refused to travel to the neighbouring country for the tournament with constant political upheavals between the two nations.
