One of the brothers sued by the wife of late San Diego Padres owner Peter Seidler for control of the team says her allegations of wrongdoing are untrue.

Sheel Seidler, the widow of late San Diego Padres chairman Peter Seidler, filed suit against two of his brothers Monday in an attempt to gain control of the team.

Sheel Seidler sued her brothers in law, a suit including a note purported written by Peter Seidler, who died in 2023, listing Sheel and their children as his preference for future control of the team.
