CVS Health added Glenview Capital's top boss and three others to its board in a deal with the hedge fund, a month after the healthcare conglomerate tasked a new CEO with its turnaround efforts.

CVS Health struck a deal with dissident Glenview Capital, giving the investor four board seats. Glenview had been pushing for changes at the health-care giant and had met with former CEO Karen Lynch prior to her ouster.

CVS Health has added four new board members, including the chief executive of a hedge fund that has been critical of the struggling healthcare giant. The company said Monday that it expanded its board to 16 members following “productive discussions” with shareholder Glenview Capital Management.
