The top diplomats of China and India have called for their nations to provide further mutual support, but avoided making any public statements about a long-standing border dispute when they met Monday in Beijing.

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri held a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing on Monday.
