Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards appears to have escaped what could have been an unfortunate injury. Late in the first half of a matchup against the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center, Edwards was helped off the floor and into the locker room after appearing to roll his ankle on an awkward collision.

Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards was helped to locker room after suffering an apparent ankle injury during Thursday night's game against the Brooklyn Nets.

Edwards rebounded a missed 3-pointer by Julius Randle and hoisted up a 3-pointer of his own. It went in, but as Edwards stepped back after the shot, he stepped backwards onto the foot of Nets coach Jordi Fernandez.
