Blizzard conditions across southern Manitoba have closed schools and highways Friday. The Perimeter Highway is closed, and so is the Trans-Canada Highway between Winnipeg and Hadashville.

The Perimter Highway has now been closed, along with many other highways south and southwest of Winnipeg. The weather conditions - a Blizzard Warning - is impacting southern Manitoba. Highways are being closed everywhere so rapidly that it is hard to have continual updates.
You may want to delay any travel plans, a meteorologist says, especially if those plans involve highway driving.
