Wednesday night saw the team officialize a deal to send Butler to the Golden State Warriors, who will send Andrew Wiggins to South Beach, where he’ll play alongside newly minted All-Star guard Tyler Herro, five-time All-Defensive selection Bam Adebayo and a host of Heat talent eager to expand their respective roles.

Even though Jimmy Butler informed the Warriors he would not sign an extension if he was traded there, the six-time All-Star landed there anyway. Moments after the news broke that Butler was traded from the Heat to the Warriors, however, he reportedly agreed to a two-year extension with the franchise anyway.
