Dillon Dube, Carter Hart, Michael McLeod, Cal Foote and Alex Formenton were charged with sexual assault last year for an incident that allegedly took place in 2018 in London, Ontario.

The trial of five former NHL players accused of sexually assaulting a woman after a party for the Canadian national junior hockey team began Tuesday, more than six years after the alleged attack occurred.

Hart, Michael McLeod, Dillon Dubé, Alex Formenton, and Cal Foote were charged in February 2024 and have pleaded not guilty.
