Mel Bower, Shriners Children’s Hospital Spokesperson, talked to CBS Philadelphia about the patient who was in the plane crash in Northeast Philadelphia Friday evening.

The crash of the Jet Rescue Air Ambulance, which operated the Learjet 55, comes two days after the country’s deadliest aviation disaster in almost a quarter century, in Washington, D.C.

A pediatric patient was among those on board, officials said. The aircraft went down about 6:30 p.m. shortly after takeoff and no survivors have been confirmed.
