Borussia Dortmund has signed Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka on loan until the end of the season. The loan deal includes an option to buy this upcoming summer worth around $40 million. The transfer was concluded just in time for the winter transfer window to close for Bundesliga clubs on Monday afternoon.

It was recently confirmed that Borussia Dortmund has secured the services of 21-year-old Englishman Carnay Chukwuemeka from Chelsea on a loan that will last until the end of the season. If he impresses, the move could be made permanent in the summer for 35 million euros.

Chukwuemeka, 21, has not featured in the Premier League for Chelsea this season and has only started one match in the Conference League.
