Citadel: Honey Bunny is the third installment in Prime Video’s ambitious international spy franchise, Citadel. The original Citadel premiered in Spring 2023 and introduced Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas as super spies who find themselves struck by amnesia.

While I liked Varun as Bunny and Samantha as Honey, Kay Kay Menon, Kashvi (young Nadia), Sohum Majumdar as Ludo, Shivankit Singh Parihar as Chako, Sikandar Kher, among others, all play their parts well – and due credits to the writing too.

The Hindi web series has finally started streaming on Prime Video after much anticipation. Part of the original spy universe that featured Priyanka Chopra, this Indian adaptation stars Samantha and Varun Dhawan and is directed by Raj and DK.

Citadel: Honey Bunny has a great sense of humor and a stellar style. Samantha and Varun Dhawan share terrific chemistry, and Shivankit Singh Parihar brings an action-packed and humorous turn as Chacko, while Menon’s character delivers villainous, manipulative tactics. This is a compelling action series that hits all the right notes.
