President Donald Trump has been waging a campaign to pressure elite US colleges to make a wide range of policy changes, in what his administration has framed as an initiative to fight campus antisemitism and enforce civil rights protections.

President Donald Trump has again trained his ire on Harvard University, accusing the school Monday of “judge shopping” in its legal battle with the White House and threatening to cut off $3 billion in federal grant funding over its handling of anti-Israel protests.

The White House General Services Administration is expected to send a letter to federal agencies on Tuesday asking them to "identify any contracts with Harvard, and whether they can be canceled or redirected elsewhere,

The veteran CBS News reporter also accused the president of working to “rewrite history with grotesque false narratives.”

President Donald Trump on Sunday demanded that the university provide a list of names of its international students and the countries they come from. Trump made his comments on his Truth Social platform,

Trump said he is now considering pulling a further $3 billion in federal grant money from Harvard and handing it to trade schools. His administration has already withheld $2.2 billion of federal grant money from Harvard.

Trump also wrote that he is “considering taking Three Billion Dollars of Grant Money away from a very antisemitic Harvard, and giving it to TRADE SCHOOLS all across our land.” His administration has already cut more than $2.7 billion from Harvard’s multi-year federal commitments. It was not clear whether Trump was referring to new cuts.
