DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Yemen’s Houthi rebels claimed Monday they shot down another American-made MQ-9 Reaper drone over the country, with videos purportedly showing a surface-to-air missile striking it. The U.S. military did not immediately acknowledge losing any aircraft.

The strikes in Yemen attacked Ras Issa and the port city of Hodeidah, the Israeli military said. The Houthi rebel group said Israel targetted fuel tanks and two power stations.

Israel said it bombed Houthi targets in Yemen on Sunday in response to missile fire by the Iran-aligned militants at Israel over the past two days, marking another front in fighting in the Middle East.
