Fire that broke out in the Mahakumbh Mela Kshetra on Friday morning has been brought under control, an official said. As many as 20-22 tents were burnt in this fire incident, however, no injury or loss of live was reported in the incident.

PRAYAGRAJ: A massive fire broke out at a pandal at Maha Kumbh mela Sector 18 on Friday morning. The fire was reported from Shankaracharya Marg following which several fire tenders were sent to the spot.

India's government reported that over 420 million pilgrims bathed at the Kumbh Mela festival in Prayagraj. The number is calculated using AI and surveillance cameras. The festival attracted attention due to a deadly stampede on January 29.
