The NHC downgraded the storm to a Tropical Depression, and said it expects it to weaken as it moves toward Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula.

Even though tropical models show Sara, once a powerful tropical storm, moving through Central Florida this week, the severe weather threat is extremely low.According to the National Hurricane Center,

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Sara has dissipated heading into the Gulf of Mexico, the National Hurricane Center said. The remnants of Sara are located 90 miles southwest of Campeche, Mexico. Additional rainfall is expected over northern Honduras, with storm total amounts locally as high as 40 inches of rainfall, according to the NHC.
