The redesigned Ram 1500 is being recalled because its stability control might not work. Ram is recalling 33,777 half-ton Rams, all of which are from the 2025 model year, but the automaker estimates only one percent of the recalled population is affected. Those trucks were built between Oct. 13, 2023 and Aug. 11, 2024

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, some Ram 1500 trucks may have issues with a damaged part that could cause the speed wheel sensor to malfunction. This malfunction can disarm the Electronic Stability Control and increase the risk of a crash.
