Expansion could be on the horizon for the College Football Playoff, and Ryan Day is lobbying for more guaranteed Big Ten representation.

In an interview with ESPN on Wednesday, Day said that he believes any future models of the College Football Playoff should include four automatic bids for the Big Ten. Right now, there are entries for the top five ranked conference champions and seven at-large spots.
