The Encinitas Fire Department plans to withdraw from a 15-year cooperative services agreement with departments in Solana Beach and Del Mar.

Evacuation orders are in place for nearby residences along Rancho Santa Fe Road and San Elijo Road for the Claro Fire in Carlsbad.
