Divers found a 12-year-old boy dead in the water at Fort Lauderdale Beach in Florida on April 18, hours after he first went missing. He died of accidental drowning, according to police.

The 39-year-old Pahokee man faces a felony charge of child abuse without great harm in the incident, which police said happened Sunday afternoon.
