A crash that killed four teens in west Marin — after their SUV veered off the road to avoid an oncoming car, according to a survivor — has left families grieving on both sides of the county line.

A somber crowd gathered in Fairfax to mourn the deaths of four teenagers who were killed in a car crash. All four were girls between the ages of 14 and 16, who had been friends since kindergarten.

The teens, students at Archie Williams High School, were traveling in a vehicle that struck a tree along the road.
