The Hutchinson Police Department is not releasing any information about what officers found at the address or who the victim is. It will only say that a 38-year-old man was booked into jail on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder.

Two men have been arrested after police say they fired several shots at a man on Wednesday afternoon in St. Petersburg.

Daniel Dunn was found guilty and sentenced to 40 years in prison. Officials deem him a Habitual Felony Offender (HFO), because of multiple charges involving law enforcement. Dunn was sentenced to 40 years as an HFO because of a shooting in Fort Myers.

Detectives have launched an attempted murder investigation after a man suffered serious head injuries in an attack in Leeds. According to West Yorkshire Police, two men unloading shopping from a car in Tempest Road, Beeston, were attacked by a lone suspect just after 20:30 GMT on Tuesday.

The Post-Standard police blotter of arrests from police agencies around Central New York was updated today. The arrests added this week were dated from Jan. 1 through Jan. 27. Those charged were from 16 to 75 years old.
